Come funziona? È semplicissimo:

2. L’acquisto: Pagherai l’importo esentasse. L’IVA verrà solo “congelata” sulla tua carta di credito come garanzia (pre-autorizzazione), ma non prelevata dal tuo conto.
3. In Dogana: Quando lasci l’Unione Europea (entro 3 mesi dall’acquisto), recati all’ufficio doganale in aeroporto o al confine con i beni acquistati (ancora inutilizzati). Mostra il codice della fattura digitale Stamp al personale della Dogana per la validazione digitale (Sistema OTELLO).
4. Fatto! Una volta che la Dogana avrà convalidato l’esportazione, la garanzia sulla tua carta verrà automaticamente cancellata. Non devi fare altro.

Requisiti per il Tax Free in Italia:

• Essere residenti in un paese extra-UE (es. USA, Cina, Svizzera, UK, etc.).
• Effettuare un acquisto minimo di 70,01 €.
• Portare i beni fuori dall’UE entro la fine del terzo mese successivo a quello dell’acquisto.

How does it work? It’s simple:

2. The Purchase: You pay the tax-free amount. The VAT amount will only be “held” (pre-authorized) on your card as a security deposit, but not actually charged to your account.
3. At the Customs: When you leave the European Union (within 3 months of purchase), take your unused goods to the Customs Office at the airport or border. Present your Stamp digital invoice to the Customs officer for digital validation (via the OTELLO system).
4. All Done! Once Customs validates your export, the hold on your credit card will be automatically released. You don’t need to do anything else.

Tax-Free Requirements in Italy:

• You must be a resident of a non-EU country (e.g., USA, Switzerland, UK, China, etc.).
• Minimum purchase of €70.01.
• Goods must be taken out of the EU by the end of the third month following the month of purchase.
